I can tell the BBBad thing just happened because I’ve received a fresh cascade of frantic messages from Dem politicians begging for money. Too soon, guys. If nothing any of us did or said helped stop this, what good is donating money to you now gonna do? Cuz I sure don’t see it.

In the past eight hours, I’ve gotten 19 texts (and counting) from different Democratic politicians frantically begging for money. Someone - Act Blue? - clearly sold my phone number to every Dem politician in the United States. I do not appreciate it. Life is stressful enough. Geez.

This morning alone I’ve had 10 “URGENT!” “BREAKING!” texts from democratic politicians begging for money so they can fight Trump. I want to fight Trump, sure. But I don’t have money to donate to every Dem pol in the US. (just venting, based on engagement stats here, nobody will see this.)
