Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me 30,000 times, shame on me
Stating an assertion's provenance, even if authentic, does not refute the assertion in the slightest.
At least the stretch from Laredo to Austin?

True story: RFK Jr's Harvard admission essay was merely his signature on an otherwise blank sheet of paper.
this guy was a methlete not a mathlete
By that math, if you make the drug free of charge, it is an *infinity* reduction in price.
Different from MSNBC (now MS-NOW). CNBC has from its inception promoted the view that what is good for billionaires is good for America.

It is fitting that the custodian of Alito's legacy should be a non-lawyer and recurring Fox News character.
Also, like Edmund Burke, I support the interests of workers but not necessarily their will.
Later in the 1970s, Roger Freeman — a key educational adviser to Nixon then working for the reelection of California governor Ronald Reagan — spelled out quite precisely what the conservative counter attack was aimed at preventing: "We are in danger of producing an educated proletariat. That's dynamite! We have to be selective on the we allow to go through higher education. If not we will have a large number of highly trained and unemployed people." The two most menacing institutional sources of the same described by Freeman were obviously those two great public university systems charging no tuition: the University of California and the City University of New York. Governor Reagan was able to wipe out free tuition at the University of California. Source: Vietnam and Other Fantasies, by H Bruce Franklin

I love this so much for Texas, who started all of this

In 2018, there were 628 Steak 'n Shake restaurants. Of those, 414 were corporate-owned, and 214 franchised. The company has since attempted to convert to a fully franchised model.[6] In 2021, the company had 536 locations, but the number dropped to 493 by March 31, 2023, according to Biglari Holdings; not all of those were in operation at that time.[7] The company has shifted away from full-service restaurants toward a drive-thru model and kiosk service.[8][9] By the end of 2024, the company had 426 company-operated and franchise locations in 26 states plus the District of Columbia. The company had also retreated from many of the states that it had expanded into during the first two decades of the 21st century.[3]
Yep
Steak n Shake has shuttered nearly 200 locations in a decade. Their ongoing flirtation with RFK and MAHA is simply part of their throwing everything at the wall and hoping something sticks
Point of order: Vance has a decent shot at becoming president, though he will surely never win a presidential election
That Obama-Mamdani event was the subject of much derision on The Five from Fox News alpha males Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld
Seems like it would be trivial to launder such leaks thru non-lawyers, if this proposed rule ever gains traction
The averages seem to have stabilized somewhat, albeit at a dangerously low level for Trump, as people suspect that he doesn't actually have the stomach for a ground war in Iran.
Your rule, if consistently applied, would merely place non-lawyers at an advantage over lawyers in reporting on the courts. In an age when elite lawyers are wont to bite their tongues when commenting on courts where they might one day plead a case, this seems less than ideal.
If you find yourself feeling guilty about this, recall that Bill O'Reilly incited the assassination of abortion provider Dr. George Tiller.
That's the legacy of Malcolm and Steve Forbes: to either not care at all about the suffering of ordinary people, or to find it amusing. Belongs on the epitaphs of both of them.
Bunch of Bread tunes that I was too cool for in junior high, but above all "Everything I Own"

Shlaes' Wikipedia bio says she is a "Presidential Scholar" at The King's College in NYC. That's the place that Dinesh D'Souza ran for a few years, and since 1993 has not been accredited.
Judges who pronounce death sentences ought to be required, just once, to throw the switch themselves, as morally there can be no distinction between ordering an execution and carrying it out
It's rare that you see interviewer and interviewee so out of touch with reality
"Jesus wept". See, I dunno about that, seems kind of weak. If I were God, my Son wouldn't cry in front of people...
