thank you so much! do you have a specific brand of acrylic paint you would recommend, or do you think it matters?

my wife and I bought the ermine mask and we love it! if i may ask, what kind of paint do you use on these? I had it set up on a little anti-slip mat for a couple of weeks and when we lifted it up, the mat took some of the ermine's paint with it 😔 it's subtle, but i'd like to touch it up, if possible

I've gotten a few different colors from them and I've loved every one I've had!

When I was looking at reviews I saw people mention Paperlike also causing a rainbowy/grainy look, but apparently that was only for the older versions of it and new versions don't do this. I have a newer version and it looks great and I'm happy with it ❤️

Thankfully no, it doesn't cause a wobble! It also feels nice to draw on, it has a very mild texture to it so it's still smooth, but not like drawing on glass. It kinda reminds me of drawing on a smooth paper, like printer paper.

I had tried an off-brand Paperlike and it was fine, it didn't cause a pen wobble, but made the screen look a little grainy/rainbowy... eventually, reluctantly (they're expensive) tried an actual Paperlike and I really like it a lot, I'll probably never use a different screen protector now

it's okay I completely understand, I had the glass protector on for well over a year before I figured it out 😭 I tried going without a protector but hated the idea of not having one on such an expensive piece of tech. I'm glad you know what the problem is now, at least!

Having wobbly lines like this definitely is not normal and if it isn't a screen protector or an off-brand pen nib or something, maybe it's possible that the pen is damaged...? Or maybe there's some way to calibrate it after the screen protector is off? Not entirely sure but I wish you luck

I know you said you took off the screen protector but do you have anything else that might be increasing the distance between the iPad screen and the pen nib? I had this exact issue and it was driving me crazy, turned out it was my glass screen protector 😭

I've tried 3 different kinds, and out of them I strongly prefer Paperlike! Tempered glass screen protector caused awful pen jitter, off-brand Paperlike was fine but it caused a rainbow effect on the screen, the official Paperlike feels great and doesn't cause screen color distortion.
