Strictly no GenAI for art, audio, etc. Have had some very light usage as a search engine for finding resources on some technical topics but no generative use, period. This is a game made by humans, for humans, to learn and show our love for the series.

Logically yes but most of us were dumb high school kids when we started this and just liked the game (we're dumb post-college kids now and still just like the game)

Short version is the original release used a lot of audio/visual assets from other games - Zero Mission, Fusion, Super, and a host of others. We want it to stand on its own :)
