How many people are being detained by ICE?

As of December 2025, ICE held 70,805 people in detention facilities — that’s a 74% increase YoY and a 406% increase compared to February 2021 (14,000 people).

The number of detention facilities has also increased with 103 being added since FY 2024.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released the January jobs report this week.

🔸Unemployment dropped 0.1 percentage points MoM to 4.3%.
🔸January saw an increase of 130,000 nonfarm jobs — 82K came from healthcare. Based on 2024 BLS projections, 12 of the fastest-growing jobs are related to healthcare.
