Mechanical loading induces the longitudinal growth of muscle fibers via a rapamycin-insensitive mechanism mTORC1 does not always hold the key to unlocking the mechanical load-induced growth of skeletal muscle.

It's been a long time since I sat down and enjoyed reading a paper cover-to-cover as much as this. Some cracking work and experiments.
