The more I think about it, the more I think one reason they didn't "make it" is because of the name The Wedding Present. The name suggests wedding music. I think that was a psychological barrier that a lot of Americans were too lazy to overcome.

Tonight I walked to the Cedar to see The Wedding Present. Towards the end of the show David asked the crowd “Why were we never big in America?” The crowd murmured before someone yelled out “Because we’re stupid as shit!” David chuckled and we all knew there is some truth in that. Phenomenal show.

First Wednesday of the month at 1:00pm - Not a tornado
Severe Weather Awareness Week, Thursday at 1:45pm and 6:45pm - Not a tornado
Every other time - TORNADO!!!
