Trump says he’s holding off on new strikes on Iran after Pakistan asked for more time to work out a deal.
So the ceasefire stays—for now. But the U.S. is still blockading Iranian shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, so this isn’t exactly de-escalation, but another indefinite pause. It's a good thing.
