Ok I'm fairly confident my PC is fixed now after some stress testing, I have a couple of alterations I want to make through the week, gonna move some parts around the case to optimise and after that streaming shall resume! ❤️

Oh I fixed it, and I employed ruthless methods. 😂
I used needle nose tweezers, cotton and isopropyl.
It doesn't but you have to get it out cause the CPU will still completely fail, which is the fun part!

It's more common than you'd think but when applying thermal sheets they suggest you keep it a couple mm larger than the contact patch.

Tis a tower, my new cooler/fans arrive on Monday so I'll see how I fare after that.
At best it would have to be a new cooling unit, at absolute worst a new CPU but I fail to see how that would be the problem, so I've ordered a new cooler and I'm gonna ask a friend who's a PC wizard to help me install without fuckups! Here's hoping!

Aye I gave them a good dusting last night and repasted my CPU but the issue persisted, nothing is causing CPU spikes either I think it was just a little warm in general in the house which contributed.

I haven't watched the show past season 1 so I can't say if they touch on it, but in the comics there's even an evil version of mark that has the moustache and it's kind of an "oh shit" moment.
