so a video doing well on YouTube indirectly benefits me on Nebula, where a video doing well on Nebula doesn't really impact my YouTube numbers. getting a $1/mo pledge on Patreon is more stable than either.

they're kinda hard to compare? Nebula pays out by watch-time and subscriptions, where YouTube pays by raw views and ad-clicks, and the scales of the audience are wildly different. plus the primary way people end up on Nebula is thru YouTube.
