(2) The Helgun reload sound has around 17 different tracks. My favorite detail is the sound of the bullet casings falling out. I shook a paint pen in front of my mic to capture the sound of the mixing ball inside it. When I got a good sample I pitched it down for each casing.
My favorite might be the Helgun and the sound it makes when you reload it. The shot itself started as a small blip of electric signal feedback that was then shaped with saturation, EQ, compression, and reverb over and over again in different ways.
