Xinjie (Andy) Zhang, a Ph.D. student in the Department of Education Policy at Vanderbilt, has a similar problem in an experiment conducted in China. He is solving the problem by using an Instrumental Variable estimator in subsequent periods.
Public dissemination of one's own work is rare. Many times, my work stops at the production of a paper that not many people read. This conversation with Provost Raver at @vanderbilt.edu was a real treat.

I was incredibly honored to be awarded the CSWEP Carolyn Shaw Bell Award. When I accepted the award, I talked about the importance of mentoring.
The lessons I pass on are kind of obvious. But they are important, so I am going to share them yet again. (A🧵)

Some days ago, I went to my local library to pick up books that I had reserved ("Silo" series). As I was leaving, I had a thought: Trump has never been in a public library. He doesn’t understand the power of a community around "books." An object totally alien to Trump. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-5nk...
