Trying to reach broader audiences about the importance of federal funding for science!
Thanks so much for this! Could you speak a bit more as to who the external reviewer might be in this context?

Backs of a class worth of a final exam, where students have drawn their pets for extra credit.
Does giving everyone an extra point on a curved final actually affect their grade? Nope.
Will I do it again, absolutely!
Much needed burst of joy for both of us! 🐈⬛

Hi y'all! 👋
I'm a new Assistant Professor at UNC Greensboro! My lab is interested in how cells maintain and establish compartments. We use fission yeast mitosis and meiosis as models for our investigations.
Check out nickaderlab.com to learn more!

Ready for some of that sweet back-thinned sCMOS 95% quantum efficiency for our imaging 🤩
Close up image of a microscope stage, where an oil-immersion objective is seen against a slide. Green light is visibly illuminating the sample.
The UNCG Biology Department's Nikon AXR now has a 100X/1.45 NA objective! Woohoo! Next up, getting the delivery of our backlit sCMOS!
Great Friday seminar by Dr. Richard Allen Wright! Really fascinating to see where the sequencing technology is for virology and where it’s going!
Ader Lab members hold up an envelope of yeast samples in a lab.
The lab received our first shipment of yeast from Japan's National BioResource Project @nbrp.bsky.social Such an amazing community resource! Charlotte and I are pumped!
