When the Moon is in eclipse, #KPLO #Danuri cannot generate power from the Sun so we put it into hibernation.

The Moon will begin total eclipse in about an hour and half and totality will last for about an hour and 20 mins

I’m currently at the operations center for #KPLO #Danuri, to monitor the spacecraft as it enters hibernation to survive the eclipse!

Having covered Korean protests for years, I rarely feel physically unsafe. But the blind rage of Yoon's supporters is genuinely frightening. These aren't protesters: they're violent thugs who've lost all sense of reason.

Now we have Korea’s Jan. 6 moment. This is truly disturbing. Yoon’s rhetoric helped incite his supporters to break into the court building from which his arrest warrant was issued.

Perhaps he’ll even get to meet a defiant Cho Kuk, the liberal politician who Yoon’s government put behind bars - at the same prison. What irony.

Yoon has definitely been arrested. After questioning, he will be held at the Seoul Penitentiary until the warrant expires in 48 hrs or a “bench warrant” (구속영장) is issued

Apparently along for the ride is Ispace's lander Resilience in a follow-up mission to their last attempted landing. ITU records don't provide a clear identification of frequency but I assume they will reuse the same as their first attempt.
