The model @arcticcouncil.bsky.social have now begun the pre-ambulatory clause for “Supporting Youth Engagement in Arctic Government,” the delegates have reached an unanimous agreement for the second clause by Raipon— “Engaging both Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Youth Arctic Government.”

Delegates are now working on their individual topics, using different approaches. Some are using the available technology, while others are using the more traditional whiteboards.
Delegates are also using informal discussion, a unique characteristic of Model Arctic Council.
Pre- SAO meetings are up and running at MAC Bilbao 8. We're excited to see what our delegates propose for our two issues: Arctic invasive species and youth engagement in the Arctic!
Delegates started off the conference with the conference opening ceremony, followed by the Model Arctic Council opening ceremony.
The events were held at Deusto University in the city centre of Bilbao.
Despite rising tensions, the ministers at #WYCOMAC have voted to adopt the declaration on the issue of invasive species in the Arctic, with a declaration bridging environmental, social and economic issues.
