These trucks should not be road legal. This guy claimed he couldn't see me after pulling out of a gas station and hitting my car in the turn lane (He also tried to claim it was my fault lol)

I seriously just can't with these trucks. Couple that with texting and driving? Yikes.

I wish we had gone for an electric vehicle when we bought our car last year.

Record number of homes in Great Britain turn to green energy as fuel prices soar Iran war drives demand for solar panels, heat pumps and EVs, with energy bills expected to rise 18% from July

Heat pump orders up 2x in a month. Solar panel inquiries up 250%. EV leases up 85%.

The Iran crisis has made energy security feel personal.
I understand why: I have solar panels, a heat pump & EV on a flexible tariff. When gas prices spike, my bills barely move.

Funny how Nigel Farage loves to call out
what he considers 'failures' in public life
but never mentions
- Reform policies like scrap ECHR fact-checked into oblivion
- Reform councillors kicked out for racism
- Reform councils near bankrupt
- Reform ex-Tory MPs having learnt no lessons

Never get why the morons who opposed climate action want everything to cost so much more.

Staples like coffee, cocoa and olive oil have already spiked sharply. And the risks are growing.

“Never trust a Tory” says Farage which given 6 out of 8 Reform MPs were Tory until they “defecated” to Reform & he & Tice were Tories is weapons grade hypocrisy

But that is on brand for him lying as he breathes

Trouble is the clinically hard of thinking who follow Reform swallow all his BS 🤦🏼‍♂️

Britain is now better insulated from gas price shocks than it was during the 2021–2023 energy crisis thanks to a buildout of solar and wind – which helped cut gas generation 🧵

Just as there were people who resisted the introduction of inside toilets, seatbelts, women’s votes, lead free toys etc Tice & his party are similarly reluctant to embrace what most people can clearly see is needed. Unimaginative, regressive, fact averse idiots.
Let’s never let them run our country.

20% of British electricity coming from solar power at six in the evening in early April is absolutely remarkable.

And we’re just getting started…🇬🇧♻️⚡️💡🔋😎

I’m a Green Party councillor for City Ward #Sheffield. It’s a densely populated urban ward.

I’m going to talk about digital advertising screens, which doesn’t sound exciting, but please bear with me.

I want to explain why I spend time objecting to so many of these.

Since 2023, I’ve …

We need a "working class history month". Remind people just where so many of our hard-fought rights come from and why those in power are so hell-bent on convincing so many people that minorities are the problem.

Here's the thing - SNL UK was good, so that's great. But even if it hadn't been, it should still be given the time and space to evolve. The Creative Industries are in a tricky space right now so we need visible mainstream successes.
