Remember, if your $SPX target for year-end 2025 is less than 6275 ... you would be better off in cash.

At the very least, rebalancing following a few years of outsized 20%+ gains is likely a good idea. Especially for older investors.

The question older, less risk-tolerant investors are asking themselves is *not*:
Will SPX go up next year?

The question is:
How much *more* than 4.5% (risk-free money market rate) will SPX go up and do I want to assume the downside risk to have a chance to capture those additional gains?
