It's restricted by the color identity of your Pilot and Rig. You're taking it from your deck and placing it in Orbit

Orbit doesn't impose any deckbuilding restrictions. You can have other vehicles and spacecraft in your deck

Cards can not return to the Orbit zone. Once your spacecraft is in your hand, it changes zones as if it were a normal main deck card.

Currently, all spacecraft are legal to use in Orbit as long as they meet the color identity and restrictions of your deck. You can only have 1 spacecraft in Orbit.

And introducing a new zone: **Orbit**

Before a game starts, you may select a spacecraft in your library and place it into your Orbit Zone. **Whenever your Pilot or your Rig enters, if you control both your Pilot and your Rig, you may put a spacecraft you own from Orbit into your hand.**

As of today, **Kotori, Pilot Prodigy, and Astor, Bearer of Blades are UNBANNED**

There have been multiple new creatures printed that directly influence vehicles, and we've determined that these two are no longer likely to warp the format.

Big format announcement coming on Friday! Keep your eyes open, and get your helmets ready!

This is a very interesting turn of events for Commander!

In a related note this does not change the #PendragonMTG format. Vehicles cannot be your commander & we only focus on Legendary equipment.

It may affect @arsenalmtg.bsky.social & @pilotmtg.bsky.social formats. Be sure to check them out!

Hi there! As you know, the current banlist for Pilot includes the commander banlist as well as more tailored inclusions. Keeping up with that, the recent unbans in Commander are also recognized in Pilot. 1/2
