my two entries for the #TamagotchiJam! meet wingyflies and crabbybird! these were actually extremely difficult to make, as i mostly draw girls lately, and every time i tried to make some tamas for weeks i wound up just drawing 1bit girls instead, until the last minute!!

After that I fixed some remaining issues with item logic & integrated the speed boost into save data.

Improved the logic for receiving items from cutscenes so it respects available space, fixed minor bugs with the inventory & mouse control of save file processes in the journal. Still more polish to do, but nearly finished!

Did a lot of background coding and logic.
Got actual combat and damage started, I might be able to have a pseudo-playable version up this week, but that'll depend- I have a full time job separate to this, so the game dev will slow down a smidge during the week.
