It's incredibly stupid to offer support to everybody during a fuel crisis:
1. It directs more money to richer people.
2. This increases use of fossil fuels.

As news slips out from the independent Rycroft Review of foreign financial interference in UK politics, I told Politics Home how - without a donations cap - we are trying to secure the house while the door is left wide open:
This is spot on and seen in the number of council by-elections that end up being Reform vs Lib Dem. Not so much fragmentation as realignment.
A LibDem success! - and a particularly important one when energy security is becoming so important.
