Call for blood cancer treatment to be available on NHS Clinical trial patient Jason Johnson is calling for a treatment that worked on him to be made available.

Access to life-changing treatments should never be about the ability to pay. That's why @myelomauk.bsky.social have joined forces with our supporter Jason to call for CAR-T cell treatments to be available on the NHS for people with myeloma. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Prof Martin Kaiser (@mymkaiser.bsky.social) who led the study, says: “We would like all myeloma patients to be able to access the newer diagnostic tests which enable clinicians to group individual patients based on their risk profile and provide treatment that is tailored to their needs.”

Today Myeloma UK joined 50+ cancer charities as #OneCancerVoice, calling on the UK Government to fully fund the National Cancer Plan and improve care for those affected by cancer. #myeloma
