Today I learned wasps make the most horrific buzzing noise when building a nest… On one hand I knew it was there right away, on the other it is making my first day off for vacation a little more stressful.

My quality of live has gone up so much since moving to an apartment with porch access. I love sitting on the porch.

Okay I need to know who is out here designing curtains. Why are they so ugly, who is picking these patterns and fabrics? I’m frankly confused. Are blinds companies lobbying against curtains that aren’t hideous? I have questions.

This is genuinely one of my favorite days of the year. The buzz of excitement from the kids on the bus makes the late night so worth it.

Hmmm winter is starting to feel like it’s time for a new tattoo, piercing and to chop all my hair off, but my budget says it’s time to stay inside the entire month of March.

In Memoriam by Alice Winn; This book was devastating and beautiful, and the longer I ruminate on it the more I appreciate it. It left me with a sense of emptiness at the end that is so powerful for a book surrounding WWI. It was expertly written, and I could probably write an essay on it.

Sometimes you pick up a book, read it cover to cover, and leave it feeling like, somehow, it was written for you specifically to read. It hits every box you look for in literature. Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, is that book for me. I could not put this down.

Started the year with Wuthering Heights for a classics bookclub, and it was a challenging start to the year. It’s a great, interesting story! The characters are deeply unlikable, in a very purposeful way lol.

If a brewery adoption event appears in the spring I’m taking it as a sign then!

I had a dream that I stumbled upon a dog adoption event while out and met the sweetest dog on the planet, and hope it’s a premonition for when I can finally get a dog.

I started playing Story of Seasons (the new version of Harvest Moon) and I’m ngl it’s not hitting like Stardew Valley does, but I’m gonna give it a little time for me to warm up.
