From April 11th to April 17th PDT complete the Path of Exile 2 quest on Discord to receive an exclusive animated avatar! All you need to do is to accept the quest and play the game for 15 minutes with the Discord client open.

As the week wraps up, we've pulled together a list of changes we're targeting for deployment in a patch mid next week. We've been busy making improvements to Path of Exile 2—here’s what’s on the way.

Patch 0.2.0e will be deployed in 20 minutes! This patch contains many of the changes discussed in our recent news posts, including changes to Act 3, player balance changes and new Runes for attributes, as well as other improvements and bug fixes.

We've just deployed 0.2.0 Hotfix 4, which includes the fix for the Smith of Kitava not being able to be selected after Ascending. You will need to restart your client to receive some of the changes in this hotfix. The full notes can be found here:

We've just deployed 0.2.0 Hotfix 3, which addresses the "Unknown object type serialized by server" crashes.
We have a potential fix for the crashing occuring in town. A fix for this is coming imminently.
We're still looking into players getting the "Unknown object type serialized by server" crash. Thanks for your patience on this.
We're aware of the crashes on console. We have a fix and will be deploying them in a client patch later today. One of the common crashes is when previewing Microtransactions that aren't enabled yet, so we recommend avoiding the preview window while waiting for the patch to go out.
We're looking into an issue where Smith of Kitava is not available to pick when ascending.
There was an issue where US realms were showing as being down for maintenance. This has now been resolved.
We've temporarily disabled the Scourge and Legion Commander Armour Set Microtransactions to stop the crashes in town while we wait for the fix to go live.
We're aware of players crashing in towns and are working on a fix as soon as possible.
We're aware of some players experiencing FPS issues and are looking into this. We suggest trying to disable NVidia Reflex in the options as we've received some reports that this resolves the issue for now.

We're aware of some people crashing on Vulkan when trying to launch the game. You can try changing your renderer in the Documents\My Games\Path of Exile 2\poe2_production_Config.ini file
renderer_type=Vulkan -> renderer_type=DirectX12
