Powerpoint is NOT a documentation tool. If you have to document things with a lot of text - write a document. If those documents need diagrams, create and insert them.

Also, if you are giving a presentation and I can get all the info from your slides, you used too much text.

How hard is it to build a reliable refrigerator that isn’t $15k+? I hate that it‘s far cheaper to replace a consumer model every 6-10 years than it is to buy one with a 20-30 year lifespan.

I've got an ID.4 too and do, occasionally, use "B" mode. It's kinda nice in slow-and-go traffic when I have no rear-seat passengers (kids) who are prone to motion sickness.

This! My pet peeve is whenever someone equates 1 pedal driving as an EV must have. Tesla did it because they were too lazy to try and make blended braking work well. 1 pedal is actually less efficient in many situations. No knocks against people who like it, but it isn't "better" or EV table stakes.

The worst part is finding out there are solutions to your issues, but the company (which is the same one that built the product) has blocked them for "security concerns."

Glad you're having success. The filament/decorative bulbs I've purchased are prone to developing an annoying flicker after many months of use.

4/ - As we demand action from our elected officials we also need to demand action from those who fund them. It's our taxpayer money being spent to fund these un-constitutional, un-American, un-accountable goon squads. And it's our consumer dollars that get funneled into campaigns and donations.

3/ - So why the silence? Are they just hoping the dementia-ridden faux-king will toss them some crumbs and/or contracts? Are they content to fight for a slice of a shrinking pie (fewer people with less purchasing power)?

2/ - Fewer people in America mean fewer consumers to buy goods. Fewer people to pay taxes to fund services. Everyone who gets a paycheck pays taxes, even if they're undocumented....though undocumented folks don't get the medicare/medicaid/social security those taxes pay for.

Corporate America's silence is deafening, and confusing from an economics perspective.

We live in a largely service-based, consumerist economy. Labor availability in the service sector is lower than demand. Any reduction to the labor pool will only hurt businesses more.

Twenty years ago I bought a set of All Clad tri-ply stainless steel cookware. I've used it daily since and, unless I warp a piece or two on my induction stove by accidentally heating them too fast, they will out-last me.
