Looks awesome! 16MB is crazy for a 386, let alone 32! I wonder if a RamDisk would be faster than an SD to IDE adaptor on a 386?
What's the strange second ISA-lookint port at the bottom right of the motherboard?

An old mile marker by the side of a road. Behind, an old stone wall, and some stone buildings and lush trees. It's a partly cloudy day. Stilton is 6 miles south. Stamford is 8 miles north. London is 81 miles away.
Always nice to find an old mile marker out in the wild. #WaterNewton #Peterbough
Do I know anyone that 1) Lives in the broad area of Peterborough and 2) that could walk/cycle/drive to the circle area and grab some specific footage??? DM if yes. π
Thereβs a civil war fort on the corner of a road just next to where you circled. Always wanted to have a proper look when I go past, but itβs a private house now I think
These look fantastic!
Do the keys not need to be longer for full compatibility?
This should have been a factory option from Creative. Great work!
I'd file this under #PicturesYouCanHear
Surely that must be a stage name or a nickname of some sort? Sound alike he should be the lead in an action movie!
The 90's equivalent of "like and subscribe"! π
I've used JLCPCB for a few work projects, and they've always been really good. I'll use your referral link next time I order something.
How you feel about curved traces? Mitxela did a video about that a while ago that I'm keen to try: youtu.be/euJgtLcWWyo
Wow, look at the colour of that building - so much soot!
How weird - I wonder what their purpose is?
Do you have any information on the case on the right hand side? It looks like a tower version of my first desktop pc, but I never knew who made it. Any photos would be appreciated!
This is what the Windows XP "bliss" wallpaper would have looked like if Microsoft were a British company
Battle chess was a phenomenal game, and so was Space Quest. Roger Wilko found so many interesting ways to end the game! π
A grid with 9 games: Sam & Max hit the road Arctic Adventure Doom Prince of Persia Transport Tycoon Unreal Tournament Duke Nukem 3D Flimbo's Quest (c64) Command & Conquer
Oh ok, since everyone else is doing it, here are the #9games that defined my childhood. I found it really hard to whittle this down actually!
Reminds me of some rivers here in the Scottish Highlands, but the trees look more north American. Must visit some day! Thanks for sharing
The river in #2 is gorgeous - where is that?
Was it a cost-saving exercise by Commodore introducing the IEC bus, rather than sticking with IEEE-488? Surely they'd have been better off being able to use the existing printers and disk drives, rather than reinventing the wheel? Sorry, this is a bit of a tangent I appreciate.
Thanks. Glad I didn't shell out on that at the time then! I just wanted to play games quicker πΎ
This just reminded me of something. Years ago, I didn't have a 1541 but had an 8050 drive that I was trying to connect to a C64. I saw an advert in ICPUG for Β£290 for an adapter, which was more than a 1541 would have cost from Argos. Would the drives have been compatible with the 1541?
I thought you meant 'serial' as in, connecting a 1541 to the PET at first, but this is interesting as well. I used to use something that read RS232 at work, and quite liked the idea of having a PET terminal on my desk just to show what was going on, for maximum nerd appeal.
"sticky tape and rust"! He has a museum in Holborn in London called Novelty Automation, full of his inventions. I haven't been yet, but some friends went and said it's excellent. maps.app.goo.gl/swALVadUHQUh...
Works for me on port 80. Felt very much like dial-up waiting for the images to load. I was visitor #39! Love stuff like this!
Hah, used to work at Maplin in Glasgow during that red and blue era 20 years ago. I saw the thumbnail, and my brain immediately said "VD76". Useful information to retain for 2 decades! Used to get those returned lots when people wanted straight-through cables, and picked up the wrong one.
This is exactly right. The Onion quietly left Twitter a month ago and... our weekly subscribers went up. It's because we're doing well here, on Instagram and on YouTube.
As a business, being on Twitter is somewhere between useless or detrimental, unless you're selling boner pills.
I knew it!
