Olimar’s notes for the Temporal Mechanism changed slightly between the original and Switch versions of Pikmin 2. While the bulk of it about how this object ‘bends the spacetime continuum’ is identical, the new one add a line of Olimar saying it’s hard to believe and that he needs a nap.

In Pikmin 2, if you leave the defeated bodies of a Spotty Bulbear or Gattping Groink alone long enough, they’ll eventually recover and get back up with full health.

This is a subtle reference to Jesus Christ from the Bible, who was also defeated but respawned three days later.
