Ooo, that’d look so fkin rad. Graceful, elegant, violent.

Ripped a big hole in the wall in our kitchen, cut a hole more cleanly below it, installed new electrical boxes, and finished the connections in the bottom one.

Installed the outlets in the kitchen; the GFCI was the main goal, but needed more space for the eldritch horror of cables the previous owners jammed in there. So installed a bigger box and added an outlet for good measure. Patched the plaster around the boxes, waiting for it to set.

Our bathroom had no outlets. Installed a bigger box, added a GFCI/switch combo which controls the mirror light. The left side of the box is just connections and a blank plate to fill the open switch hole. Had to get creative with the eldritch horror that is this house’s electrical. It’s crooked bc the wiring is 55-year-old 12-gauge wire and stiffer than an orc in an elf camp. Our next house will look much better.
