Links Awakening is a pendulum swing of me going "this game rules!!!" when I really like some part of it, and "this game's the worst!!!" when I dont like some puzzle/boss design/mechanic.
I really like the npcs though. they're all very animated and quirky and fun.

I mean. the game world is relatively small.
its only a "long" game in that its got a day/night cycle and shops that randomly change stock every day. so it takes a while to see new accessories or furniture. etc.
I'm part of the problem.
why am I not making a game thats smaller and shorter...

the possibilities: cow, glow squid, snow golem (no pumpkin), snow golem (with pumpkin), brown lama, tamed wolf, and a *RARE* steve with a full set of gold armor. imagine the rare being the one you wanted the least. sorry Steve. i'd be happy if it was Efe or Makena or something (those are some other minecraft mascots)

my new horizons town today had: THREE tourists walking around, a camper, Redd's Treasure Trawler, Resetti walking around, AND Zipper T. Bunny. And then just normal villagers out and about and at home (+ cherry blossoms & shooting stars).
I don't think my island's ever been that populated before.

if you think im scope creeping again, uhhh. actually it's COOL and makes quests more interactive. and I can use this instrument feature in different scenarios too, so... its a good addition. probably.
and wasn't that hard to set up other than the tricky part that was planning it out.
coding an instrument for futurevale that you can play a song on to lead Oranges around (if u know u know). it works more or less like the ocarina or spirit flute from zelda.
my criteria for notes is making sure you're able to play stuff like the first notes of megalovania or some pokemon tunes.
