Does anyone know any great artists who specialize in fantasy map making? I’m going to remove my book from Amazon, and I thought to celebrate a new edition, I’d add a fantasy map of my world to the inner pages of the book. I drew a map long ago to keep facts straight as I wrote, so I have a mock up.

That’s a true linguistic for you 😄 Create a world with it’s own complex language and rich cultures and then add an extra layer of language evolution just for fun

A violet fungus necrohulk covered in the skeletal remains of those who crossed its path. Stat-block for the violet fungus necrohulk, a large plant. It has AC 17, HP 123, STR 19, INT 7, DEX 12, WIS 14, CON 18, CHA 10 and CR 7. For actions it has multiattack, rotting slam and spore bomb. It has absorb body as a bonus action.

This one is starting to grow on us. 🍄

And from that moment forward, before the 30th day.
Wolves will howl, howl, and howl the whole night away.

And just like she promised, Luna will gift them a soul.
On a full moon night, wolves are all paid their toll.

‘I am sorry, brave wolf, but this is where my quest must end.
Though, I haven’t forgotten your toll, my friend.’

‘Before the 30th day, howl into the sky,
and I’ll gift you a soul when I hear your cry.’

As they race further west, Luna's starts to shine brighter.
And the wolf can now sense that she’s getting much lighter.

They finally reach the western shore,
and Luna leaps up from the wolf and begins to soar.

Amadeus agrees but for toll.
‘I’ll carry you west, but it will cost you a soul.’

Luna accepts the charge and climbs onto his back,
and they run off west together, down the half-moon track.

Through snowfields, forests and deserts, they run.
Keeping far ahead of the ever-rising sun.

As tonight is the 1st full moon of the year here’s a short story to celebrate the Wolf Moon 🐺🌕

Amadeus, the wolf, sniffs the night air and asks:
‘Who is it that stalks my half-moon path?’

‘It is I, Luna, and I’m on an urgent quest.
Oh, brave wolf, will you help me with my journey west?’
