I’m asking my friends here to direct their outrage and concern toward Amazon and Twitch for ignoring creators’ warnings. Even I knew about these issues despite being out of the loop — especially Valkyrae’s concerns — so management can’t claim ignorance.

Nothing seems to have changed. Valkyrae, ChilledChaos, and Kruzadar all skipped this year because of safety concerns. Those responsible need to be held accountable.

That said, this incident is yet another example of poor security at TwitchCon. It adds to the horrifying situation involving Emiru. Streamers have been warning about TwitchCon security for years.

I feel horrible for what happened to @pastaroniravioli.bsky.social and @emerome.bsky.social I have nothing nice to say about the people who treated Pasta and Em poorly.
