I’m back to playing Diablo: Immortal. It’s free to play & a lot of fun. It’s got a cash shop, but you can still rock without spending a dime.

CW: Medical Stuff

Last Sunday, I had a “cardiac event” & went to the ER. My pulse hit 164bpm & I couldn’t breathe during rehearsal.

It currently hits 130bpm when I walk *down* one flight of stairs.

I’m meeting with a cardiologist on Wednesday & could really use some prayers/hopes/vibes.

I would say they need to bring back the Pride section but I don’t care to see them profit off a community they abandoned so thoroughly.

There are many other businesses that deserve the sales more than a chain box store that won’t stand up against hate.

It’s only one group that’s called for the end to the boycott, saying that Target has a program called “Belonging” which is basically DEI.

I’m not interested in shopping there, regardless. Until they live up to their promises to support Black businesses and communities, I won’t step foot inside.

Life has been a lot the last couple years. But moments like this, watching Brandy happily wagging her tail as she sleeps, bring the brightness that keeps me going.

Oh dang! I didn’t realize what happened to it. Glad it was as appreciated. Even if it didn’t come with air-holes. 😂

During my hiatus I auditioned for & was cast in a play for the Main Street Theater (Tucker, GA) production “Shakespeare In Hollywood”. (Story: Oberon & Puck get cast in the 1939 film of Midsummer.) I play a character named Lydia; a chorus girl with a fabulous wiggle but very little acting talent. 🧵

I’ve been largely offline for February b/c I seriously needed a mental health break. I want to thank @playersandbook.com & @playonwords.bsky.social, as well as our incredible communities for being so amazing supportive of me taking this time off despite the major inconveniences involved. 🧵

Waking in that coffin was one of my all time favorite moments from any game in 20+ years of LARPing. I was going for terrified bird in a box, glad to know it hit the way I hoped. 💛

I couldn’t find anything that says any of the cast have voiced support for Israel’s attacks on Gaza or supporting Trump. I only saw an article that Zach Braff went to Israel in 2008 and said he enjoyed the culture of Tel Aviv.

Can you point me to articles or evidence that they support either?

I teared up. They found the heart and brought it back as perfectly as I had hoped.
