• during the process of creating, I went through many design options and names related to the names of flowers, and the original name was Daphne
• also her design was partially inspired by Madoka Kaname from Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Lambdadelta from Umineko no naku koro ni

Finally, I'll list a couple of mini-facts about her:
• if Dahlia had a sprite, she would be slightly shorter than the Queen
• if Dahlia were in the game, her dialogues would include symbols like ❀, ♡, and ୨୧

She worries that she can't help him, because she's just a rejected bouquet that's destined to wither someday... unless Kris wants to help her restore love between their parents. Sometimes Dahlia can't take it anymore and breaks down because of her own anxiety, but later apologizes for it.

Dahlia treats flowers in her world with reverence, keeping them in Memo Garden. She loves green tea and sweets. Dahlia is also worried about the relationship of Kris's parents, telling how sad Asgore looks when he works alone in the shop.

Speaking about the OC itself, Dahlia is a caring and kind creature. She treats Kris and Susie with warmth, but is a little offended by the latter for eating "a piece of her", also hinting at the flower from the bouquet that Asgore gave to them.

Her name is Dahlia, and she is a resident of the Dark World. She is the embodiment of the bouquet that Asgore wanted to give Toriel in chapter 4. Dahlia is closely connected with speculations that the next fountain may be in Asgore's shop, as well as with a fragment of the prophecy about him.
