To be fair the decision was driven by 2 factors: one is lack of flexibility with existing tools that just weren’t good enough to let us run the queries we needed. Second was pricing. At the current stage of @dailydotdev.bsky.social the number of events generated would cause us to go bankrupt

We’ve tried them all and eventually built own own thing in-house 😅 So can’t really recommend any

Working day to day with product metrics can be discouraging but when looking in a month /quarter perspective you get to see the fruits of your labor
