I have seen so many of these new standards launches from ministers in my career. But what always gets forgotten is that curriculum change and inspection revision drives the work burden into classrooms. Teaching is tough right now and I hope straws and camel backs is not a regret we have as a result

Thanks Tom. Governments tend to only get one go at getting this right so it feels an important debate to me
