Belgium announces that it will request at least a partial suspension of the EU-Israel association agreement. Spain, Ireland, and Slovenia have already done so.
The fact that this hasn't been done yet is a point of outrage and shame.

Pretty significant
We would arrest Netanyahu, says Hungary's incoming PM. Peter Magyar has said he'll stop Hungary's withdrawal from the International Criminal Court.

Told @NewsNation that Trump always uses social media to mock his counterparts, as an effort to create the optics of dominance. But it's one thing to do trash talk in a negotiation, completely different when the US is in an actual war and diplomacy is needed to end that war...
LOL!
This woman is a genius! In the parody of democracy that Germany has become, you get arrested if you say "From the River to the Sea."
So this pro-Palestine protester asks if it is ok to say "From the River to the Beach" 😂😂😂😂
This is a scene straight out of Kafka...
Beyond shameful!
Next time the German government lectures ANYONE about human rights, remember that in Germany, you get arrested if you peacefully hold up pictures of starving Palestinian children.
This video is from Berlin.
Told @cnn that Trump's focus on appearing as the winner is starting to become a threat to the negotiations. Instead of de-escalating the situation, Trump has not been able to resist mocking Iran and portraying Iranian restraint as a sign of weakness. This is self-sabotage.
This is the West Bank. An Israeli soldier assaults a Palestinian child near Ramallah. The child looks no older than 6.
If any other country's soldiers did this to a child, Washington would call for military intervention.
But because it is Israel, US taxpayers finance this.
Told @MoeedNj that ending the war was bad enough for Israel, but lifting sanctions will be a devastating defeat for Israel since it sees sanctions as a slow but steady degrading of Iran's power.
Israel will do everything it can to prevent any such deal.

Stunning lyrics by Siba Alkhiami, a German-based artist, against Israel's repression of Palestinians.
WOW!
CNN announces that there is no longer a divide within the Democratic party on Israel - the party base (not its leadership) is overwhelmingly opposed to Israel!
No age divide or divide between Liberals and non-Liberals. A majority of all demographics oppose Israel.
In his strongest words yet, Pope Leo XIV on Saturday denounced the "delusion of omnipotence" that is fueling the U.S.-Israel war in Iran and demanded leaders stop and negotiate peace.

Told @ABC that it is not entirely clear that the Straits are open, just as much as it isn't clear whether Trump's blockade ever was really implemented.
But Tehran is demonstrating here through this move that it decides whether the Strait is open or closed.

Told Pakistani TV's @Fahdhusain that while Pakistan has done a good job facilitating and mediating the talks thus far, if they reach a framework agreement, pressure from Israel to sabotage the talks for a final deal will become far more intense.

MUST READ article by international law expert @MsJamshidi assessing the legality of Iran's asserted control over the Straits, while also putting it in the context of the larger picture with the undisputable illegality of the war itself:
www.thenation.com/article/worl...
Iran appears to be using some of Trump's tactics against Trump. Such as making grandiose & vague statements declaring a major achievement, even though it isn't fully being implemented or agreed upon. Such as "the Straits are fully open" vs "Iran has agreed to end enrichment"...
Young Palestinian children are prevented from going to school after Israeli settlers - with the tacit approval of the Israeli state - blocked their path with a barbed-wire fence. Instead, they are forced to sit in the boiling heat to continue their education.
Netanyahu's longstanding investment in the American Evangelical movement is crashing down: Support for Israel among young Evangelicals has plummeted by over 50% in just three years

“It is essential that Trump manages to constrain Israel. If Israel is free to restart wars and the US cannot resist joining those wars, then what is the value of a ceasefire deal with the US?” Trita Parsi says.

I explain in this piece why the ceasefire between the US and Iran may have shifted the momentum in Trump's direction.

Stunning!
It was achieved through the wars Israel pushed the US into, the genocide it committed, and the manner in which criticism of Israel has been punished. It's backfiring MASSIVELY.
Among men under 50, Israel's favourability has tanked from -3 in 2022 to -47 in 2026!
"This war has proved that Washington can’t force Tehran into submission." - @FedericaMog, former top EU negotiator with Iran.
www.foreignaffairs.com/iran/how-end...
Europe's former top diplomat, @FedericaMog, and @SahilV_Shah write in a vindicated tone that the JCPOA was not pursued because of naivete. But because we "understood that the alternative to diplomacy is the chaos and destruction playing out now."

Told @esaagar & @krystalball that neither the US nor Iran have stated that talks are over, nor are they shooting at each other again. has, every move we see right now - incl the naval blockade -should be seen as tactics within the negotiations.

"President Trump and his advisers are looking at resuming limited military strikes in Iran..."
Remember what happened last time he planned "limited strikes"? As if Trump decides the scope of the war?
www.wsj.com/world/middle...
I discuss on @Bannons_WarRoom why the whole idea of a naval blockade won't go anywhere. Trump has no escalatory paths out of this futile war; the sooner he recognizes that and adopts realistic negotiation positions, the better off the US will be.
If you want escalation, surrender is what you should be looking for. That's why pro-Israeli voices are pushing for outlandish demands - because they know it will beget escalation and more war.
Told @Bannons_WarRoom that if the US position in Islamabad truly was zero enrichment, we should not be surprised that the talks failed; we should be surprised that that was the US strategy. It raises questions about the sincerity of the talks.
I explained on @cnn that Lebanon may be the real sticking point, since Iran demands Israel end the bombardment of that country. “For the Iranians, this is a test to see whether the United States is capable of controlling and reining in Israel.”
It would be bizarre if the US went to Islamabad insisting on zero enrichment, knowing Tehran would never accept it. Indeed, if the nuclear issue were truly the focus, it could never be agreed upon in a single round of talks, given its technical complexities.
