Give them some time. All the Scions we have now come from the ARR period, either by star, mention or cameo. It’s a pretty tight knit group. Estinien has been around since ARR and he wasn’t made a Scion until the run-up to Endwalker! 😅

While they never addressed the accent discrepancy directly, I think they hinted at that with the name change. As for allowing the accent to slip, that might be dependent on the voice actor and if he can do an American accent. Sean Connery and Dick Van Dyke come to mind… 😅

You think that’s bad? How is it Lyna and Erenville, two characters from completely different shards, share the same Northern European accent yet Erenville’s own mother, Cahciua, sounds as American as apple pie?!?

I love the story, the characters and the actors. At some point, you ignore and enjoy.😅
