I would really try to remove the glue if you can. Maybe put the book in a press to keep them in place while you're working. If you do that, a strip of cloth is a great addition for strength.
If you can't get the glue off, a cloth will only hold the book together after the spine breaks

No problem! If you are actually separating the pages, you will need to re-glue them or they will fall out. I would recommend looking at a video of how that's done.

Not this one. He's a bastard. That's why I'm giving him to you.
And if you don't have PVA, white school glue is a pretty close substitute
Also be careful not to separate the pages while you're at it, though that can be fixed
I would scrape the glue off first and then reapply a layer of PVA before putting the cover back, but sure! Just gently heat the glue and reapply it
I mean it only had like 80 views for the longest time. I'm not sure how anyone found it
A brown rat being held in one hand. His name is Kuiper
A white rat being resting his chin on my hand. His name is Sagan.
A dirty blonde rat on a bed. His name is Fowler
A piebald rat being held in a small hammock. His name is Fenrir.
I never did share my new boys. Halley and Herschel are still around, but say hello to Kuiper, Sagan, Fowler, and Fenrir!
A large brown rat held by the scruff of his neck. The rat looks very unintelligent.
Thank you. I have no mice for you, but please accept a rat as a token of gratitude
I wish I could follow republicans around with a camera without them getting pissy and breaking character
No worries, I'm glad my three days of fugue state made someone smile
The full video is a bit longer and you can find it here.
I don't often do videos like this, but say hi if you like bookbinding and rats.

I did not realize that this stupid little idea was beloved. Did I blink and it became A Thing while I wasn't looking?
It can be both things
fwiw, I don't think you need to change it. But it is funny
He's going the most roundabout way possible to say that the Democratic tea party movement is progressive for its own sake, rather than for the people.
I'm sorry, I cannot help but see that this noble prawn knight is a Republican? Do they know?
Green leather with the words "Sacred and Terrible" painted on. The leather is polished and very shiny.
Raw undyed leather with a maker's mark shaped like a badger
Stream had to contend with 1MB/s up speed, but here's the spoils of today's slideshow. Leather is painted and waxed.
Never a more appropriate prophecy
omg it's a creature :D
Rice starch being cooked into paste
A large square of cotton cloth smeared in blue paste to dry
A slow day today. I have a couple of copies of Moby Dick that need to be covered, so I made a big roll of blue bookcloth. I prefer to fill cotton cloth with starch paste and blue acrylic
Hard agree.
Okay, it's not perfect, but a dunk in the green bath fixes even the streakiest dye job.
Finally, somebody says what we're all thinking
First off, they wouldn't be campaigning on that even if they were in power. Second, they are the second largest political party on the planet. They have power and they don't know how to use it. How was trump able to push an agenda when he was a single person not even in office?
People don't remember what health insurance was like before the ACA.
Like yeah, I want more too, but the ACA was a very big win.
Did an impromptu stream today on twitch.tv/badgertide and made a fresh hammock for Halley and Herschel. It's so soft and luxurious.
Aaaaand blocked. Guess I was too close to home.
You CANNOT think that the extent of Democratic power consists of 260 democrats in Congress the Supreme Court? This is identical to Hakeem Jeffries bitching that Liberal voters are yelling at him for being a doormat. "What do you want ME to do? We don't have the power! Go talk to the republicans!"
No. Bullshit. ALL of that is power. Power doesn't just mean "the things we can do in Congress provided we have votes". Power is also the ability to get people on your side.
You may as well say that billionaires have no power because they're not elected officials.
