Beth worked as a doctor for years until a transphobe turned up. Now, she's had to leave her job, leave her home, move to the other side of the world and is still being hounded and harassed by the media and cult.

She did nothing but exist as trans in the orbit of Sandie Peggie.

I don't recall any previous transformative technologies that had to be sold to the public so hard. No one in 1999 was going, "Guys. Cell phone? It's coming, whether we like it or not. I think it's important, FOR WOMEN ESPECIALLY, to learn about cell phone. So that we're not left behind!!"

It’s illustrative to recognise when the Guardian uses the word investment (straightforward handing over cash to the private sector) and when it uses spending (welfare, public sector wages)

Seen the latest rake jump from our forensic PM and it's very funny how whenever something happens that would usually have merited his intervention his excuse is basically "I'm the most unaware person to have ever existed" and we're just expected to treat that as anything other than disqualifying.

Has there ever been a Prime Minister who willingly admits to knowing as little as Keir Starmer?

5 days ago 198 43 15 2

Once again Keir Starmer relying on the tried and tested excuse that he's not dishonest but rather simply very gullible, niave and/or constantly misinformed and for that reason he should continue as Prime Minister.

I don't think senior people in Labour have any idea what's about to hit them in London.
Just anecdotally, I know so many people who held their noses and voted Lab in 2024.
Since then, they've gone out of their ways to toxity themselves.
They're going to be obliterated and it'll be their own fault.

Do you notice how the entire press had to lock together and *scream* at the public for years, to make the left as despised as the Sensible Moderates have made themselves organically, just by being themselves.

Justin Webb said Donald Trump was "making American normal again". Hadley Freeman declared him a "feminist champion".

They should feel shame - but the tiny moral universes they inhabit know no such emotion.

Every single Labour MP whining about being told they’re out of touch is part of a government which is attacking trans people’s healthcare are right to exist based on conspiracy theories and right wing propaganda.

It’s only popular in echo chambers yet that’s all they’re acting on…

"Millenial has racist (distant) uncle who has been radicalised by the Mail / Facebook..." who amongst us doesn't?

Who among the GPEW voter base doesn't see through this?

‘Succulent Chinese meal’ speech added to Australia’s National Film and Sound Archive Jack Karlson’s rallying cry of ‘democracy manifest’ added to national collection of sound recordings that hold historical, cultural and aesthetic significance * Get our breaking news email, free app or daily news podcast Thirty-five years ago, when Jack Karlson was hauled into a police car outside a Chinese restaurant in Queensland, he couldn’t have known his bombastic speech would be watched by millions around the world, become a meme and now, be preserved for ever in Australia’s National Film and Sound Archive. Karlson’s declaration – “Gentlemen, this is democracy manifest! … What is the charge? Eating a meal? A succulent Chinese meal?” – is one of nine pieces of audio that have been added to the NFSA’s Sounds of Australia collection this year, along with a pedestrian crossing signal and Missy Higgins’ 2004 hit Scar. two scenes from the 1997 movie clockwatchers starring parker posey, et al. in the top panel, posey, a white woman with short black hair is holding a mini-bottle of j and b whiskey. “no machine can replace me ‘till it learns how to drink” she says. in the second panel, her head thrown back, she’s downing the bottle.

I guess boycotting Harry Potter feels pretty trivial to me, because I'm an adult. if someone told me I shouldn't eat Gerber's baby food, I'd be like, that is no problem. I'm way ahead of you
