Jeez. Labour MP’s have just voted to give police unprecedented powers to ban recurring protests turning a fundamental freedom into a privilege granted by the state.
No protest movement has ever brought about change through one single march or action. How did it come to this?

This is very good. I’ve sat with families just like this for about 10 years now - and have really only just started to feel the benefits of that continuity I can now bring to the room. Takes time
Dingwall Medical Group has reached out to our community by creating a regular Community Council Liaison Forum that meets quarterly. We find this has many advantages over traditional patient participation groups. bjgp.org/content/76/7...
Any word of improving the tracks? Journey time EDB to INV significantly slower than by car....
Dear Trish, Just sitting with my 94 year old father who sailed the Atlantic, as navigator, aged 25. We spent many days sailing together. We are now living with his frailty and the paper boat analogy is beautiful and relevant.
I don't know how to clip a segment (sorry), but the bit I really want you to watch starts at 29'10". It's about the deep roots of the attack on Iran and why it's just as well Starmer is "no Winston Churchill". I'm surprised this aspect isn't more widely discussed. 🧵

this is a masterclass response to Mahmood's latest hate mongering from Zack.
Yes, something I have always felt. It can also inhibit us from taking leadership positions in NHS when we are ideally suited to do so.
Just going to leave this here
Very sad to hear of the death of Jeanne Freeman. I have utmost respect and gratitude for her leadership during the pandemic where she excelled in bringing together varied views and listening to all.
Great piece. We have a system of cohort Continuity at Dingwall -patients identified by clinicians as having higher needs. Been very positive and now being extended to frequent attendees in older age group to tackle frailty.
Glad to be able to share Continuity of Care report I was asked to create with colleagues from across Scottish NHS. realisticmedicine.scot/wp-content/u...
I spent ages working on an ACPA for my father. When I went to collect him from hospital they had not even bothered to check his DNACPR status 🤬
Walk‑in centres. Our firm view is that the Scottish Government must rigorously evaluate the pilot and establish a clear exit strategy should walk‑in centres fail to reduce pressure on core services as we expect. www.heraldscotland.com/news/2576882...
Glad to have been interviewed by #rcgpscotland chair Chris Provan about Continuity of Care in GP. castbox.fm/app/castbox/...
This strikes a chord for me, beautiful writing.
My petition should be soaring past the 10,000 mark.
Please help me share it as widely as possible.
What's at stake is an abnormal proliferation of tax havens and feudal enclaves

That's amazing, well done.
NEW: Scottish activists taking part in a historic humanitarian mission to Gaza have been detained by Israel
Keir Starmer welcomed Israeli president Herzog to Downing Street as 200,000 Palestinians were forced to flee Gaza and Israel prepared for a further offensive.
Peak rail fares scrapped on ScotRail trains.
Scotland also has:
Public ownership of water, lower water bills than England's.
No university tuition fees for local students.
No prescription charges, abolished in 2011.
No two child benefit cap from March 2026.
England must follow.
This, from the Quakers, is a pretty good example of how to resist pressure from bigot lobbying groups. Effectively “we legally can allow trans people to use the loo, we morally should, and we tried it and nothing bad happened”
