Doesn’t mean you just ignore the feeling. But I think it does mean we need to dig deeper to figure out what the complaint is really about.

Vibecession may be a trite way of putting it, but it is important to note the real numbers. If the data says Americans are richer than ever, but Americans consistently say they feel poorer than ever, then the feeling must be getting at something beyond real personal income and financial situation.
