Numerically approximating Exp-Minus-Log is surprisingly easy. Exp-Minus-Log, the curious mathematical primitive of Andrzej Odrzywołek, admits a surprisingly simple and efficient numerical approximation down to 1ULP in >99% cases.

you should be able to hire a customer support agent to battle with some company's customer support on your behalf, and then bill the company for it afterwards. then make it no-win-no-fee, lawyer-style.

i hate it. there's people who use obscure build systems and make it your problem (bazel, tup, meson, premake, etc), the other build systems are either so complex as to make debugging really challenging (automake, CMake) or too plain to support all types of fucked up build platforms (plain Makefile)
