Lay on hands to fix any LC or MS instantly...

At home I have a little silicone grippy for pickle jars and similar. It's too big for this, but I'm thinking we need a smaller version in the lab.

It's several times I have seen/heard it seems like it gets tightened really hard at installation especially, and then trying to take it off for cleaning is difficult. If you wait for it to cool it can be harder, but taking it off hot is ouchies.

And yes, CS2 isn't perfect but far better than CS1

#TeamMassSpec before I go down the design rabbit hole, has anyone made a tool to help get off a too-tight ITI on the Bruker CS2 source? Preferably without burning one's hands?

Linking images/spatial has really exploded in the past about 10 years. That is an area that the new advances in computational registering have made so much better and easier.

Ok I was reading about this and...it's that easy? Things stay in place that well? And it could be paired with mass spec imaging? What's the catch...there has to be a catch.

One of my favorite ice breakers in FeMS was "what's the most expensive thing you've broken?" Or similar inspiration ala r/labrats lab sins

I love that on BlueSky I can usually tell if I know a person, but it is also funny too find commonalities with complete strangers via reddit. Anonymity acting as a unifying force? Maybe?

Some was really neat then some comes out of left field. But an interesting world to ponder.

My 5yo btw is currently enthralled with your book, so I showed her this post. "Wait, I can do science AND build Legos?"

;)

The cat-ions just make the whole build.

I just examined a method from 2 instruments and 4+ timsControl versions ago; would have been painful the other way. This was smooth and easy. Major props.
