We should celebrate this date every year as Moskva Day
Русский военный корабль, иди на хуй!
Slava Ukraini🦾
On this day in 2022, the Moskva was gloriously promoted to submarine by the Ukrainians.
Now, as then: "Russian warship, go fuck yourself."
Standfast firing Kalibr missiles into Ukraine, the Black Sea Fleet has been largely confined to port, first in Sevastopol and then Novorossiysk, since the sinking of MOSKVA in April '22. Interesting that the Russian commentariat seems to have only just cottoned on to this.
1/ Russia's Black Sea Fleet is trapped and largely neutralised, according to gloomy commentaries from Russian warbloggers. Ukraine's recent attack on its ships anchored at Novorossiysk show that its situation is a "catastrophic failure". ⬇️

The project envisages the creation of a vessel for providing underwater technical works. It will be able to operate at depths of over 1000 meters. The crew will be able to perform a full cycle of operations: transport cargo, raise sunken objects & install engineering protective barriers.

At the 3rd Inter-industry Conference "Underwater Technical Works: Innovations, Technologies, Safety", held in St. Petersburg, Russian United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC) demonstrated the concept of a new vessel for a deep sea "technical tasks" at depths of more than 1000 meters.
Hmm, "underwater technical operations". I wonder what that could mean... 🤔
