We like to keep our electrical builds as neat & tidy as possible. Pictured are some of our in-build projects including data buoys and profiling winches. bit.ly/2Q4hKdW
We are busy preparing another data buoy for shipping. This buoy will be supporting a major new civil infrastructure engineering project with meteorological measurements, but the system is due to be expanded to include wave/current measurements when required by progress of the project. bit.ly/4ajB5ln
The University of Malta BLUE Ocean Observatory saw some early action yesterday....wave heights of 12m at 04:19 yesterday morning! 🥴🤢 Thanks for sharing Adam Gauci!

Electronic Engineers from British Antarctic Survey have been on our Laboratory Measurement of Salinity Course to learn how to troubleshoot, diagnose & undertake minor repairs of salinometers while on-board research vessels or in remote locations. bit.ly/3j1Sd4k
Our warehouse is looking very yellow today! All our oceanographic equipment is designed to be as visible as possible. bit.ly/2Q4hKdW #trafficyellow #oceanography #vibrocorer #databuoy #highvisibility
We've been filling bottles for another #IAPSO Standard Seawater batch today - these will be ready for sale post-calibration. bit.ly/IAPSO
We produce a range of size options for our compact Profiling Winches - for use on USVs and a variety of other marine platforms.

This #WorldWaterMonitoringDay is all about #GlacierPreservation. @Oceanscientific can manufacture a large variety of systems to monitor year-round environmental conditions in the harshest of climates on land, water, ice, or beneath the water surface. bit.ly/2Q4hKdW
Another #databuoy system under construction. This 2.3m hull is equipped with 2 through-hull tubes for safe deployment of sensitive instrumentation, in addition to instrument brackets mounted on the central column.

It's nice to have had the sun out again for final assembly and QA on these buoys!
These systems include lightning protection for all on-board electronics and instrumentation.

Mooring weights can be made up from a number of materials, but old train wheels are extremely effective!
We can deliver a wide range of customisable mooring, water column and seabed solutions for our instrumented data buoy systems.
