As for the GPU... I just got a build with a 5070 TI lol. I considered AMD, but I was pretty stuck on the Cuda/Optix performance gaps in all the benchmarks I checked.

I also couldn't get my Huion tablet to work on Wayland, so X11 could be a factor.

wine CSP did work, but it did have a couple annoying issues that i couldn't solve. timelapses don't work, but the worst was that the color settings window (when u click the fg/bg colors) couldn't pick colors from the screen. if u figure that out lmk, i used that all the time on dowz

unfortunately i feel a bit chained to windows for my audio production workflow. its one of the only reasons i haven't fully switched yet.
