....and I just submitted a manuscript that I have 183 drafts of saved. I mean, yeah, 13 years since conception, 4 pilot studies (n>400), n=790 screened, ~22 assessments of n~140 w/ 2 MRIs, COVID, and so on. Rejected in this spot or not, it's a success, and I'll take that

Monell just made a game changing hire!
🍔 News: During exposure to fast food commercials, connectome predictive modeling predicts body mass gain. Not in the paper; I think CPM explains more variance than standard contrast approaches I've seen. Interesting question to compare them directly. #neuroscience

Manuscript accepted today! Sadly, the email wasn’t wrapped 🎁
I have a (very talented) RA looking to get her PhD, but gets intimated in sending me her writing to work up a manuscript to the point where it falls off the map. It’s always great work and I’m a softy, any advice? I’ve tried a bunch of approaches.

Thanks, I understand. There’s been this issue on the forum unresolved for a year or two.
Just sitting listening to Taylor Swift’s new album and hear ‘the only thing that’s left is the manuscript’.
