Time there is more scrutiny on Haaland. Too much hype, not enough skill and effort. He needs time out of the side as if he doesn’t score his contribution is woeful.

Pep’s influence on English football is evident in Arsenal versus Liverpool. Reminiscent of City blue in fundamental ways.

Poor second half for City, lacked intent and a big gap opened up between defence and midfield in last 20 minutes. One nil was hiding a lot of cracks. Foden’s passing was way off and most of midfield not robust enough. Haaland square peg in round hole too!

Great spirit from City and away fans were loud! Rodri allowed an extra pass and improved angle, better at defending transitions than earlier in season. Plenty to be optimistic about and build on.
