This is my first Christmas song, FIRST solo release EVER, & my first release since losing my husband & creative partner almost five years ago. It’s a sad song, but I think many people who have experienced some kind of loss will relate to it. It also reminds us of what is important.

Wouldn’t it be the military’s obligation to “support and defend their country's Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic”? I have a much harder time believing that oath means nothing to those men and women than believing it means nothing to the President, Congress, Courts.

When the law no longer means anything, people will take justice into their own hands. People will rise up; the regime will crack down with BRUTEL force. There is no limit to how cruel they will be.

We need a vigilante.

Is that protecting the innocent? Destruction of evidence? Erasure of history/reality?

You don’t think they’d gas 100 million people? Or bomb? Or starve out? Or deny access to resources so that there is long, slow, suffering? You THINK there’s a line they won’t go past while pillaging? Maybe they’ll just sell us as slaves to other dictatorships and unload us from their burdens.

Where is the Democrats’ version of 1/6? What will it take for us to be fighting mad because we aren’t yet? I think the U.S. is too lazy for a revolution.
