I genuinely don't understand how this is confusing to the pundits and reporters. Another way to put it: poor and black folks get shot over smoking weed or a wrong address and everyone responsible for 2008 at the top of financial orgs never got perp walked. The orange felon and friends are the same.

I think people know the government does the minimum possible to help ordinary folk and enrich their friends at everyone's expense. The fascists are speed running the process. Instead of draining everyone's blood drop by drop they're firing into the crowd unimpeded bc there's no real opposition.

So glad someone picked up on my wee epigram & recognized the name of Stanislav Petrov, a mid-level officer in the Soviet Defense Forces who in 1983 quietly saved the world from nuclear war just by being good at his job & taking seriously his role as a civil servant--like many of those fired by DOGE.

It's worse than secession. The broligarchs want to destroy the nation-state system that's organized the world for ~400yrs & rule as warlords over corporate empires.

This isn't new: the strategy has been perfected in offshore financial centers for ~50yrs. They're just bringing it onshore now.
