I was shocked to learned about the passing of Kiki Shepard yesterday. It was just last week that Kiki (2nd from right) sent me a donation to my foundation and emailed her a “thank you”. I remember watching Kiki in all her beautiful gowns on Showtime at the Apollo.
The night I took my daddy to the Academy Awards. The Academy asked me to host their Official Pre-Show and this year, I flew Dad out from Detroit to be my date. He had the best time meeting the stars and posing next to the Oscar statues on the red carpet. Love you, Dad and miss you so much.
On this night before the Oscars, name your All-Time favorite movie that you saw at the theater.
Happy Women’s History Month, Ladies. 💕

First Day of LENT. I am giving up all junk food - no candy, cake, chips, Cheetos, pie, sugary drinks, artificial sweeteners. As someone who has such a sweet tooth, every year, this is really tough. 🍭 🙏🏾
Such an honor. 🙏🏾 Thank you, Rev. Jesse Jackson for lighting the way. Rest in Peace. 🕊️ #jessejackson #hope
